Trust Lewis to Renew Us

I am excited to run for Allen ISD Board of Trustee, Place 4. Being an advocate for our amazing district, students and teachers is a tremendous honor. I look forward to meeting with all of you in the community and on the campaign trail.
Now to tell you a little about myself. I'm blessed to be married to the love of my life, Anthony. After retiring from the State Comptroller’s Office, Anthony continued to serve our community, working in Security at Allen High School and now as an Inclusion Aide at Ford Middle School. We’ve been proud Allen Eagle fans for the past 18.5 years since building our home here. You’ll often find us cheering on Allen’s sports teams—we’ve loved supporting the Eagles from the start.
We have two amazing children. Our daughter, now 28, fondly recalls moving to Allen in fourth grade as part of Chandler Elementary’s inaugural class. She graduated from Allen High School in 2015, which laid a strong foundation for her success at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, followed by a master’s degree from the University of Louisiana in Monroe. She and her husband have since returned to the area. Our son is an 8th-grade student-athlete at Ford Middle School, active in football, basketball, baseball, and Boy Scouts. Rounding out our family is our beloved Frenchie, Teddy Rouxpin.
When choosing where to settle down, we prioritized great schools and a strong community. Allen’s excellent school ratings and welcoming spirit made it the perfect choice for us. Since moving here, I’ve been deeply involved in PTA, PTSA, and AISD committees. I’m also proud to be an active member of the Junior League of Collin County, my sorority, and Jack and Jill of America. We worship at One Community Church in Plano. A Louisiana native, I grew up in a family of educators, making education a lifelong passion. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Northeast Louisiana University, a master’s from Midwestern State University, and, fingers crossed, I’ll earn my Doctor of Education from Abilene Christian University this May.
Professionally, I serve as Director of Human Resources for a company right here in Allen. When it came time to build our state-of-the-art facility, staying in this city was a deliberate choice. We wanted to invest in our community and support our local workforce. I’m proud to share that we achieved the largest expansion in 2024, thanks to the incredible backing of our city.
This is just a glimpse into my life, and I’m excited to share this journey with all of you. Thank you for your support.
